Merry Christmas 2009

Annual Letter Greetings

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Hard to believe another year has passed.  2009 was an eventful year in the Lynch household.

Staci completed her third year of college at Austin Peay.  She will be graduating in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications including minors in General Business and Graphic Design.  Golf was a successful year in and out of college.  In August, she and her teammate, Catie Tucker, won the Four Ball State Tournament in Cleveland, TN.  They were the youngest team in history to win such an event in the state.

Jimmy finished his freshman year of college at Austin Peay but went on to transfer to UT Martin where he continues to be successful running Cross Country.  He had two wins this year at the Soybean 5K with a time of 16 min 42 sec and the Annual R3 5K with a time of 16 min 44 sec.  Though he has made no definite decision on a major, he is currently interested in Business and Marketing.

Kaci graduated from Rossview High in May.  She began her college education this August at Austin Peay.  Being true to the socialite she is, she joined the sorority, Chi Omega.  Rarely home, she is thriving wonderfully with her new, fun, activities.  Not sure of a major herself, she is thinking Health and Human Performance.  She also got a job at Clarksville Country Club where she has been for about four months now.

Mara is now a junior at Rossview.  She is involved in many after school activities including Hosa, Key Club, Drama Club, Tri-M, Rossview Choir, and Harmonice.  She volunteers regularly at Sterling House Assisted Living Home.  Growing up fast, she continues to grow with grace and with an unwavering kindness toward all she encounters.

Kalli is a sophomore in high school at Rossview.  She continues to work across the street as a mother’s helper of five children.  Though she is the youngest, she is growing to be an exceptionally mature and beautiful young woman.

Jim and Laurel have lead stable lives for most of the year simply trying to keep up with their children and their many activities.

In July, our family traveled to Connecticut for Brianne’s wedding.  It was a magnificent affair full of many unforgettable memories.  All of her siblings were in the wedding party which made it extra special for her and for us.  The wedding brought together many generations of Lynch’s.  Our family is closer and larger now that we’ve welcome son and brother-in-law, Michael Forcucci.  Please pray for him as he will be deployed overseas in January.

Unfortunately, our family traveled to Connecticut again over Thanksgiving break as Nana Lynch passed away November 23 at the age of 87.  We were thankful and blessed to have shared wedding memories with her in July.  A strong, brave, and wonderful woman left this world but we know she is happy in Heaven where she feels no more pain.  She is hope and happy with Papa.

Merry Christmas to you and yours this holiday season.  May God be with you and bless you always.
